First, the extra wide lugs have more surface touching the ground, resulting in less ground pressure, and thus, less wear. Second, Radmeister lugs are several times deeper than the pneumatic tires, so there is a lot more rubber to wear!

Resilient to aging and cracking, Radmeister tires will last when others will fail. You can easily copy the shape of the tire, but you cannot copy the rubber compound. Others reduce the number of holes, or increase the distance between them, to avoid cracking, but thus compromise the air-cushioning of the tire, we don't.
